The Forge Cafe is open 7 days a week  and serves morning coffees, lunches and afternoon teas.  Sandwiches and snacks are also available.

Catering for residential school and other groups using the Field Centre facilities is undertaken by the Forge Cafe. 

During the winter the old blacksmith's forge fire makes the Cafe an attractive destination for walkers and in summer meals can be taken outside to tables and chairs overlooking the parkland.
