Set in the old Blacksmith's Meadow overlooking park land and Thornham Magna church, the Thornham Cabins are available for groups to hire when not being used by schools.  The Swedish log cabins are well heated and suitable for use throughout the year.

The cabins can sleep up to 28 people.  They are divided into 13 rooms, each sleep two in bunk beds, except one, with wider doors for wheel chair access, which sleeps four.  There is a hand basin in each room and pegs to hang clothes.

A plan of the layout of the cabins might help you to decide who sleeps where. 

Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow case and towels. Please read Group Leaders' Briefing before your trip. There is a risk assessment of the cabins on the downloads page. 

There are showers and loos, a sitting and class room.  A small kitchen area is suitable for making hot drinks etc.  We cannot allow self catering because of fire regulations, however meals can be provided by the Forge Cafe. The cost for non school groups IN 2008 is:

Bed only £14.50 per person per night

Bed and breakfast - £18.00 per person per night

Bed, breakfast and supper - £25.50 per  person per night

Bed, breakfast, packed lunch and supper - £30.50 per person per night.
