The
14th century tower of the church looks out over the parkland of
Thornham. An elaborate porch leads into the welcoming church.
There are tributes and monuments to the Henniker family throughout
the building, perhaps the finest being a window which has glass
by Morris and Co and the figures (Christ flanked by two Mary's)
by Burne Jones is said to be one of the finest Pre Raphael
windows in Suffolk.
The internal furnishings
of the church were bought by the Henniker family from the Great
Exhibition.
